Somehow, FOOD always seems to enter the equation while travelling the north.

This is NOT a variant of poutine (though we have found many and been told of many more). It is a form of Bread Pudding with caramel sauce. It is the culminating element of a delicious (and generously-portioned) meal aboard the MV Chief Commanda Sunset Cruise. We had fish as a main course, HUGE piece of fresh whitefish of some kind (forgot to ask).
Oh yeah… the cruising part. Left in a rainstorm, skies cleared (they call it Blue Sky Country up here) and we were treated to a beautiful sunset (as promised). Pics in another post but had to get the food outta the way! Went over to Callandar Bay and zig-zagged through the many islands.
The north is about rocks and trees and water and people. We’ve seen lots of trees. Lots of rocks. Been on the water in wee boats, and big boats, and bigger boats. And always great people.
… and the food.
